Despite short-income ten million euros, SC Paderborn achieved a pre-tax profit of 1.1 million euros in the 2020/21 financial year, as the association announced on Sunday on its general meeting.
Sales in the past financial year was therefore 25.2 million euros. In the 2019/20 financial year, when Paderborn still played in the 1st Bundesliga, he even generated a profit of 11.2 million euros before taxes. Also in the current financial year, Financial Managing Director Ralf has a good result. The association is also still debt-free.
President Thomas Sagel said in his entitusion speech: "Of course we need the sporting success. And of course we need strong numbers. All that should never be at the expense of our own identity." He called Paderborn as "the Gallic village among the Bundesliga clubs".
