Halo Infinite: How to add friends

Hallo Infinite is an upcoming first-person shooter video game created by 343 Industries and released by Xbox Game Studios. The 6th major entry in the Halo series, it continues the story of the Master Principal, adhering to Halo 5: Guardians (2015). Unlike previous installments in the collection, the multiplayer part of the game is free-to-play. Infinite was planned to be launched as a launch title with the Xbox Series X/S on November 10, 2020, however was delayed in August 2020. It is intended to launch on December 8, 2021, for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Collection X/S. Hallo Infinite s multiplayer component has been in open beta as of November 15, 2021.

Add Friends in Halo Infinite

To do this, press the Xbox button and go to the People tab on Xbox. From there, select the option Search someone and then enter your gamertag.

On the PC, you must open the Social Menu by pressing Tab in the main menu, then click Search friends at the bottom of this screen.

Now you can click on Steam or Discord options, where you can then enter your friend s username on any of the platforms and send them an invitation to your Fire team.

To reiterate, you must add the gamertag of the player with which you want to play, either on Xbox or PC. This is done through the Xbox social menu, or for PC players, they can access it through the Xbox Console Companion application that is pre-installed on Windows systems.

As Steam players must log in to a Microsoft account to play Halo Infinite, it does not matter if they are playing in Steam or through the version of the Microsoft Store game.
