On June 10, Mario and Co. are lying their football shoes again. Because then with Mario Strikers: Battle League Football is the third part of the football series. However, no simulation will expect you, strikers "is like football-only with an electric fence, without rules and full of intensive 5-to-5 fights," says the new trailer.
He delivers the first impressions of what you have to get in the arenas:

As in real football, the goal is simple and clear: to prevent goals and prevent goals from the opponent. To achieve this, you can reach deep into the trick box.
On the one hand with "brachial tackling", because there are no referees in the game. On the other hand, as in Mario Kart, items can also be used. So if you love to frustrate your opponents with tanks and bombs, you will also enjoy Battle League Football.
If the opposing striker is alone on the way to the goal and no items, only one thing helps: the "team tackling". The team player pushes his own Mario, making it flung forward. In possession of the ball, of course, this is also possible to shorten the way to the goal.
That would be a real innovation: many of the features presented are otherwise simply the same as in "Mario Smash Football", which was published in 2005.

If only the goalkeeper is in the way, you have to overcome it first. The "hyper shot" enables a safe gate. You can trigger it by collecting an item, the so-called "strike ball". Then it only says: Charging, leaning back the right zone with the bar and enjoying how your avatar scores the goal. By the way, hits from the hyper shot count twice.
For your team you can choose from a total of ten characters, such as Mario, Waluigi, Bowser and Co. Everyone has different values in speed, strength, shot, pass and technology. That too is new. In addition, the Marios can still be improved with clothes.
In the "Strikers Club" there is the possibility to competitively measure yourself both alone and with friends. The motto: collect points, rise in the ranks and play a league higher a season later. However, it is not yet known whether Mario and Co. will also put together football shoes in official eSport tournaments.
