A rare scenario inworld of Warcraft: 20 Hordler against an alliance paladin - and simply does not want to fall over. We fathom what is behind it.
PvP in World of Warcraft is sometimes a quick thing. Frequently, fights are decided after a few seconds. Especially when one side is in the lower-mentioned, the victory almost always goes in a few moments to the superiority. However, a paladin stops standing and ensures that more than a dozen attackers bother the teeth to him. He just has the most stable Godschild of Azeroth.
What happened? In his latest video, the Paladin player Rextroy once again shows what is possible in World of Warcraft if you make use of the mechanics and mistakes of the game perfectly. Deathfully, he crashes himself as a person in a whole group Horde player in front of the city of Orgrimmar. But instead of blessing the temporal instead, it does not succeed on a dozen Hordler to bring the paladin to fall.
Again and again the damage is absorbed and even when a bit of damage is done, Rextroy is just healing it away. It requires nearly 20 enemy players and about 4 minutes of lasting attack before Rextroy is finally defeated.
Why does the Paladin live so long?
The trick is a mistake in the passive ability of the Holy Paladin saved by light. This spell actually ensures that an ally player occupied with the magic flame of faith gets a shield over about 9,000 damage points when his life points fall below 30%. This can only be triggered once a minute.
That's the mistake: This ability has a small mistake. If the goal can not be protected because you can not actually look at it - for example in a sanctuary, or because the other player is in a duel - then the paladin gets the shield instead! And even better: The spell then has no cooldown and nevertheless renews when the other player collapses under 30% of his life points.
That means: If the other player is in a duel struggle with the flame of faith and in rapid sequence always suffers from 30% of his life points, the protective shield is renewed on the paladin for each damage stick. With just under 5 damage stuck per second, this is a shield of 35,000 damage - every second!
That also explains why the horde players do not quasi through this shield do not come through, as he just renews himself too fast. They would have to raise well over 35,000 DPS - or even more - to inflict Rextroy really harm.

- Patch 9.1.5 - Everything we know about the feel good update in wow
- WOW strokes the AOE cap, revised more than 40 skills
- Wow gives you a riding, but you have to play Hearthstone
Is that allowed? Basically yes, because it's just a faulty game mechanics. However, the targeted exploitation of such errors is often proven with penalties. In the case of Rextroy, however, it is the fact that his discovered errors always report in advance at Blizzard, so the developers have a little time to fix the bug before publishing his video. So it is possible for him to show exciting videos without the exploits and bugs shown by him be imitated after thousands.
What do you think of this steadfast paladin? A cool find and an interesting video? Or should one be sanctioned for such a thing?
Rextroy delights again and again by crushing mechanics combinations. Most recently, he became immortal as a witch champion and reached places where no one was.
