In the previous two months, the new circulates that AT & T was looking for selling its Warner Bros Interactive Games Division. It seems that from now on, it's no longer the case.
Many companies were interested in acquiring huge IP addresses under the banner such as Rock steady Games, Ethereal Studios, Monolith Productions. It has been reported that Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Activision-Blizzard, Take-Two Interactive and many more traded for the purchase of about 2 to 4 billion US dollars.
Today, a letter has been sent to Warner Bros Interactive employees to inform them about it. In this document, the CEO of WarnerMedia, Jason Kilar, declares that Warner Bros. Interactive is still part of the Studios and Networks group. Everything seems to come back to normal, the letter ending with them that the subsidiaries become all concentrated on the engagement of fans with our brands and franchises through games and other interactive experiences.
We do not know exactly why the negotiations have failed, but Warner Bros Interactive continues to produce quality games with excellent backgrounds, so maybe it's for the better.
